Escape
Falling asleep
Needing to leave
Everything so dull
And boring
And gray
Clocks ticking slowly
Closer and closer
Stopping not once
Nor twice
Perhaps never
And nobody catches you
Falling endlessly
In a void of darkness
And chaos
And bliss
And color starts fading
Bleeding out of feelings
Try and daydream
But waking up
Is a nightmare
Nothing is different
All of it blending
In a whirlwind of distress
And it never stops
Does it ever end
Or did it even
For a single moment
Begin.
