escape

Not rich, no friends

Happy? Depends.

A princess of roosters

in a kindom of hens.

No control, no way out,

so she wondered about

all the things she was missing,

as she'd sit and pout.

Then one day came a boy.

She thought "oh look a toy!

"He can help me escape,

all i needed was a boy!"

Oh the boy was strong

he could sing any song

she got caught up in his looks

and he strung her along.

She soon came to her senses,

took off her "love" lenses,

only to realize

they were still trapped in the same fences!

It wasnt a boy she needed at all,

it didnt matter that he was tall.

She believed in herself

so she broke down the wall.

Free at last

all her hurt in the past

she was finnaly happy

no more emotional cast.

And she did it herself!

She believed in herself!

She had finnaly learned

how to love herself.
