To Escape

To be free of all judgment from the world. Judged by no man, no woman, boy nor girl. Expressing myself full and free. No longer am I in the world, but the world, in me. All expressing, Gradually progressing, No more stressing, Slightly confessing. To be one with my deepest anxieties and fears, Writing as they disappear, Looking back on all I’ve overcome Counting all the victories I’ve won. Standing tall and proud on my own two feet Just as Dr. King stands in Washington D.C. Following after his legacy Because the right to write now belongs to me. Now I am free of all judgment from the world. Judged by no man, no woman, boy nor girl. Expressing myself full and free. No longer am I in the world, but the world, in me.
