Escape

An angel of darkness, a monster of light
I long to see the day, as evening grows neigh
The devious villain, the cowardice hero
I am all of these, but yet I am zero

The past untold, the future forgotten
My dreams become nightmares, my thoughts become rotten
Evolving into the enemy, constantly at war
The battle is fought within my mind, but others see I am torn

My heart cries, but wants no answer
Happily depressed, falling for the pressure
This beast I’ve created has been blurred, but never erased
It lays torment... waiting for escape
