ESCAPE

Black sheep in a field of white.

White sheep in a field of black.

Both fairly similar,

Both oddly distant.

Lonely – Alone

In a world where they aren’t

Wanted nor welcomed.

Their only solemn escape is within.

Far away, inside themselves, a new dimension

Freeing them from worry, from pain, from hate.

Within that world they stand tall, head held high.

But in reality they fear, cower and crumble.

Slowly crawling back into their minds, their dimension, their escape.

Insanity rising from distantness and loneliness.

Black sheep in a field of black.

White sheep in a field of white.

Both fairly distant,

Both oddly similar.

Minds blown, realities twisted, lives altered.

Accepted or not,

With or without.

Not everything is expected.

Life isn’t full of norms.

Ciao! My name's Miguel. I'm kind off an addict when it comes to Art. For me masterpieces say a lot about a person; and every pièce de résistance has its own unique story to tell.
