Escape

Your heart beats quickly, your chest pounding, palms sweaty, On the verge of tears but holding back, overwhelmed by an urge, Influenced byan emotuon, or better yet all of them with nowhere left to turn Nothing left to do but take it all in, cunsume everything in your path, No stopping until it's all gone You try to fight it but you lose, Next thing you know you've lost it, the battle between you and yourself It return like a feline only fed but once, Persistant like a who only wants, never to give up, Never to miss a chance, always right on time As if anticipating every moment, like a surprise party Everybody knows except you, they are sworn to secracy, Your impulses become all you are, taking the wheel to your life, You sit unconcious in the back seat, a passenger to your own cravings, Who knows where your are going? Nobody but you sees the path that lies ahead, Like a backseat driver only you can see what's in store, You struggle to release the contraption that holds you back, No longer to live this way, you leave the only way possible, you Escape
