Escape
Turn the title page to two
Run your fingers along rough binding
The creak of pages bring the warmth of a world
While the characters bring the insanity
The world is not a book they said
There is no evil sorcerer or the walking dead
There is no superhero and no happy ends
The world is not a book they said
I don't want this world you see
I want want a world of fantasy
I want my heros and my dreams
I will embrace insanity
Close the chapter with a clap
Cut your finger along the crisp clean edge
The groan of the pages snap me back
To a world where the evil waits to attack
I lived in the world of reality
Where the evil was as real as you or me
But i found an escape because you see
I drowned myself in a world of fantasy
