Escape My Reality
This world I was born into- torture- yet- serene
Growing the habit- focusing on the melancholy
Overwhelmed by the reality- soon to come- I'm afraid
Lost to my own lectures of despair- why do I belittle myself?
Lost I was- Lost in my own shadow
Cold- dark- lonely
Then the light came- the pen- the paper- my mind
I found- easing of my sorrow
Close my eyes- embracing the warmth- desire- earnest
I sleep and wake with this body- the imagination- interminable
The light that save me- self-evident on papers
Words- the euphoria of my wings to spread- I'm free
This... is my freedom- the escape of my world
The bird in the cage- has escaped
This sensation- I found my gratitude- savior
If ever Despair or Entropy ravish me- I know to escape
The Savior- The Light- My mind- is my asylum
Diminishing my lack- of- self
Stabilizing- my heart- my soul
The arts- a gateway for my world.
