Escape from Prison

Whack Glistening steel rod shiny like the guiding Sirius deceptively beautiful as it breaks a girl’s pale, delicate skin it shatters her innocent psyche drops of hot blood spiral gently toward earth . Drip “You are nothing; worth less than shit smeared on the sidewalk”. Brown eyes cast down to gaze hopelessly at a blurry picture the damage done hurts more than pointed sticks bruising stones. “Just die” she squeezes her eyes shut her pain streams slowly down her cheeks. Desperation tinges the world a dull, bleak red escape is not possible from the darkest prison with a needlessly abusive warden hopeless. Then…. Scratch Black ink flows across clean paper the words shudder with emotion in the bright sunlight they are forbidden but they satisfy her lust to express. To write is to escape, to express, to relieve. It is to dare to hope.
