Escape This World

Who Am I?

I am a being who started with nothing.

Out of this came a warm embrace.

I am pain, fear, and joy.

A creature who has nowhere to escape but up.

Though caring hands try to guide me,

I break away, fall, and make mistakes.

   Through these mistakes,

        Lessons are painfully learned.

But out of this sorrow emerges heros and warriors.

So Who Am I?

   I am a lone warrior,

Striving to escape this dark world around me.

This is Who I Am,

       Who Are You?
