Escapism

Yesterday's breeze overwhelmed me. First reaction: Flee. But I do not want to escape. Fear wants me to think that that's what I need to feel free From reality. That I need a break. Take a trip, watch a clip, go to sleep... so many options. Anything to pretend this storm doesn't exist. But I want to stay and fight. Stay and learn. Stay and grow. Not run away. So fear, I won't be deceived. I've survived the rain and I've earned my stripes. Perhaps it is YOU who should leave.. ‪#‎AmiMakingSense‬?
