the escence of the memory

The escence of the memory Like a kiss upon my cheek I gaze upon a moonlit path And time forgets to run its course It's cool grass upon my bare feet The hush of rain calming my woes Both bitter and beautiful The beauty shines through Things change but remain the same Like the change of the seasons The escensce of the memory Like a kiss upon my cheek
