Essay
Starting with the intro
The first sentence: grand, great, and bols
Yet when I wrote my essay
My first sentence stank like mold
I didn't pay attention
And wrote the intro very quickly
I asked my teacher to check it over
And she dropped the paper like it was prickly
The first body paragraph went just as badly
I couldn't grasp the topic and I fumbled for words
My head started to throb and hurt
But the only word I could think of was 'turds'
The conclusion made me feel
Like a marathon racer on his last mile
Just a few more scribbles and I'll be done
I could almost crack a smile :)
I don't know what is wrong with me
But i guess what I'm trying to say
Is that hey, I might be bad at writing poetry
But at least I don't have to write an essay
