An Essence Adrift

From here to there

As thoughts  are sent adrift

To unclaimed lands

A grandiose whirlwind of ecstasy and paranoia

Encompasses all

All that I ever was

All that I can

All that I will be

My thoughts are organic and unclaimed

Stumbling about wondoring

Stumbling about imagining

All that can be

Here I am

An ant in a fever dream

With nondistinct remedies

To this twirling absurdity

Which we inhabit

Steps are untraced

No one seems to notice

Steps are retraced

No one seems to care

I drag about a mind

That no sane man could bare
