Esthetic
Right here, right now, she sees what she wants
Eyes, a nose, and a mouth
The paint along her cheeks
The black surrounding her eyes.
It's a mask.
Disguising the doubt and hate.
Wishing others could see what she sees.
Perfection staring her in the eyes.
There is no room for anything else,
There is only room for her.
Her reflection stands before her,
Whispering triumph, she radiates strength.
She is beauty.
She is radiant.
The black surrounding her eyes wipes away
The pain on her cheeks is washed away
The mask is gone.
She is electric,
She is esthetic.
