An Eternal Ephmerality
Dear You,
Cant Take My Eyes Off Of You. That's the song, the one I was listening to tonight.
And yet, as every John Hughes romantic comedy would have it, it was also what I was thinking.
Or realizing, should I say. Because I cannot keep them off of you, not since we first met anyway.
It is not that I don't attempt to or that I want to be a creep. It's just, I can't. I simply can't.
And, it is the best realization I have ever had. The realization that I am not able to turn away from you.
Being fixated, instead, on your intricacies. On your vibrant aura. Your gentle, but contagious smile.
Your poetic words and impeccable sense of humor. Also, and especially, your mind. The way two plus two equals four, but never
without first checking if they don't equal five. The way reasonand emotion live in symphonic harmony in the
residence of your head. It is exhilarating. And I, I so lucky to be able to pick it all apart - everyday, and more so, every night.
It is still early, too early, this is evident, but I just have this feeling. Like everything was
aligned for that one moment. The one where we first met. In the airport in Chicago, began a night of endless conversation,
genuine laughter, honest thought, and innocent, but undeniable attraction.
So yes, it is early and also, maybe I am completely out of my mind, but I feel it. What has happened, what's happening now,
and what is yet to come. And I am filled with utter joy at the thought. Because whatever it is, I have never been more ready.
Ephmeral love always,
Your "Guapa"
