Eternal Peace

a face full of fur

stares back at you from the mirror

you are really a beast.

the fairy gasps in horror,

"that wasn't supposed to happen!"

for she was trying to help

not to hurt.

the beast inside you grows

and your rage finally explodes

teacups and plates shatter to the ground

and add to the cacophony of sound.

uncontrollable

darkness

fills your vision

and then

calmness

pervades your soul.

a face fills your vision

it laughs, it smiles, it sings

you are finally at peace.
