The Eternal Thing

People travel the world in hope to find something new

They try and try and try again, but always come up empty

But for me, I just met you

And it was easy for me to see

The future

All I see is you

You and me we will build a life together

And someday we will say, "I do"

I promise to stay loyal

To stay by your side

for through sickness and health

you are my love

One day

We will buy a house

You and me

With plans to make it three

For there is no one I would rather call

My family

My Ohana

My world

And when it is time for me to go

Before my last breath

I'll turn to you and say

Don't cry

For I know

We will meet again

Someday in the sky

Because I love you

And love never dies
