The Eternal Vow
A boy
With a heart and a spirit of a man
Innocent and pure
A girl
With a vow to never let us go
Even without evidence of knowing
We knew
We were each other’s eternity
And still
What started as small talk ended in a forever of a
Never ending blend of determined, passionate, love
A man
With the courage to understand
Patiently
A woman
With the strength to support
Willingly
And now we are
Blissful in each other’s arms
Eternally
