Eternally Cleansed

Pure as white driven snow
washed without blemish
life's torment is consistant
as HE's faithful and just to forgive us

Blessed to be here
should have been gone
but for HIS mercy and grace
yet I still live on

Temptation ever present
do your best to resist
the devil's on the war path
but trust in JESUS he lift

Up from the ashes
out of the miry clay
restore sight to those blinded
if you desire HIM just pray

I've been through the valley
fire and death cleansed by the rain
felt the shadow of death
but gave my life to JESUS
now my soul it can rest

And although temptation will never seize
on earth Satan will forever prey
on the weak as well as the strong
eyes stayed on JESUS
thank GOD I'm clean today
