Eternity

Eternity

Remember that sunny summer afternoon

Completed with your sweet laughter,

Music to my ears

The apple trees blossoming in the meadow

We held hands

As we inhaled their fragrance

Floating through the breeze

The sweet taste of those apples

Could never amount to the taste of your lips

Long ago we searched for a tomorrow together

Only to discover love grants us eternity
