Eternity Gave Me One Night in the Desert

A lover’s best loved when they’re dead Motionless skin blue and bled They danced in the desert again Once lover’s forever a friend A kiss shared passionately The air was warm humming like the bees Our hair matted like rugs we turned And tossed all night as the embers burned The sands churned like oceans beneath us Ready to swallow us whole with lust And all of our skin was exposed to the skies The drapes of stars over as we lie At the moment we felt rain drops It ended up being seas of the stars They were coming to take us home For being dead we’ve already shown A lover’s best loved when they’re dead Motionless skin blue and bled They danced in the desert again Once lovers forever a friend
