Eulogy
A lifetime wasted.
Keeping holed up,
Rotting in a cell.
Dreaming - no. Falling under a spell.
A lifeline ignited.
Withered ashes still crackle underfoot.
Tethered dreams and aspirations still chained by the Dragon.
Frayed and tattered posters still flutter on the wall.
A life now gone. A date - dash - another.
