Eulogy for a Monarch Butterfly

You flew high, Higher than anybody could imagine. You carried hope wherever you went, Never giving up what matters to you. Your orange color as bright as the sun, Brightens the day of even the most pessimistic person. You wander as if you have no place to go When the truth is, You have your mind open so wide You have no restrictions. Your beauty is endless Like the wide expanse of the ocean. You overcame everything despite your many hardships. You, despite everything, lived fully until the very end.
