A Euphony of Belief

My love, it's simple to hear

Or see and eat as long as it's sweet

Maybe you can't dream of what I'm thinking

So I'll tell you - it's the music that moves your feet.

Not just yours, but my grandma's and my cat's

Or our best friends together all jumping to a beat

We are too blessed with the powers of a string

And creations of a poet who just happens to sing.

How can we live without the pleasure of song?

A catchy chorus, a mind's storage - it's hard not to scream

For how an empowering sound makes you do the right things

And manifest a smile while spreading your wings.

Homework, working out - everything's better with a euphony.

What brings kings together can be a simple percussion beat

With a la-de-da, a do-re-mi, or a repeated ring

So much rhythm in this world inspires me to believe.

Whether I feel guilt or a euphoric leap

The right tune is always by my side, ready to aid me

A somber one's the antiseptic that reduces the sting

A jubilant jam exponentially elevates my glee.

I'll sing to you if you need it the most.

I know you're struggling and want it to cease.

Music is truly what inspires me

To be alive and help others know what they need

To inspire more.
