Euterpe

Euterpe is my favorite muse.

My heart welcomes the joy

that her music ensues.

With each note that she employs

My mind smiles as her gentle

words caress my thoughts

Introducing me to others hearts in full

Making my heart and theirs intertwine.

Her creations connect me to others

Far and wide.

Even though I’m still locked inside.
