Even In
In the mist of the dark and deep waters, I will cry out to you.
Even at times when I hear you, you were already bending down and taking me by the hand and drawing me out.
You were opening up my life, turning this heart of mine into a heart of flesh.
Now forever and ever I can sing and testify of the amazing work you did in and for me by taking my sins and putting it all on your shoulders.
You nailed it to the cross and canclled my debt, making it your very own to set me free!
Even in my suffering, you were there right beside me. Even in my darkest times you were the light guiding me home!
Even in the trials and temptations, even in the valleys and on the mountains, in the rejoicing, the weeping and the mourning, you never my side!
Even when I turned away, you were the one who has always remaind faithful and true!
Even during this battle, you are my shield, my defender, fighting this battle for me.
"So when I fight, I'll fight on my knees with my hands lifted high, O God battle belongs to you!" ~ Phil Wickham ~ Battle Belongs
