Even Broken Things Can Be Beautiful

I grew up hating the word: Disability. "Dis" is a Latin prefix meaning "Apart." Therefore, The word disability, Literally translates into: Apart from ability. I always thought I was kind of, Broken. That I wouldn't do anything Great. Not because I didn't want to, But because I couldn't. That I would have to work twice as hard, To do anything And what was the point? No one would see me. They would just see, The things I couldn't do. ...Right? I never wanted to be, Perfect. I just wanted to be, Normal. When you're just a kid, That's not asking a whole lot. But I'm not a child now. I've learned a lot. That if I want to do something great, Nothing can stop me. And there's a lot of really good people, Who do see me. There will always be some things, I can't do. And some people, Who will always see me a certain way, Regardless of what I do. But, you know something? Even broken glass, Can still let in the light.
