Even If

Well I'm getting older now

And it's getting harder to stand

On my own two feet again

How did my life pass me by?

If I could rewind it all

The crows in the sky would come down just to die

But even if I could change it all

My whole life would feel so small

So I'm counting my regrets

And I'm placing all my bets

On everything that I thought I knew

And everything that makes me blue

My whole life was a waste of time

I never made a single dime

For anything and everything

That I chose to do cause I'm passionate

The Devil's advocate is what I am

And now it's time to pay for my sins

I lived my life like Rocky

Never fell when things got stocky

Now I'm rushing all these words

Because my time is running out

I'm not ready yet to leave

But I have to go, I served my time

Well I'm getting older now

And it's getting harder to stand

On my own two feet again

How did my life pass me by...
