Even Mothers Get Lost

As Autumn leaves fall off their trees,
The sun is seen falling, and I feel alone.
As the Winter winds come around me now,
I have lost and grown.
Slipping over ice, tripping over stone.

Beneath a blanket of stars.
You are my guide.
Lighting up the darkest sky.

I'm always afraid you'll fly away.
And I'll be lost again,
Among the constellations,
You're my path of stars.

See child I’ve written you down, your every page.
And I won't let you leave this place.
Before you even achieve your climax at pace.
I wrote your ending, I saw your last page.

And I will not ever leave you, but I will make you stay.
Until I run out of words, to describe your beauty on every page.
So child, see it, your beauty, endured through the pain.
Fazed away by the rain.
