Even Though...

Even though darkness clouds our judgment,

Dim this life to a color most fowl,

That only the blackest souls could survive.

Even though people rage wars upon wars,

Over the tiny things we were sent here to ignore,

To set aside for a better time.

Even though life is strange,

Or even frightening to the people,

So easily overwhelmed.

There is a lightness to the madness

A shining light which will help us,

Through the best, and worst,

Help us see through the

Darkness so we as a whole,

Can see the brighter, more colorful picture,

A more perfect image.
