Even though you've hurt me...

Even though you've hurt me, I miss your silly ways

And your spiteful opinions in many ways

Even though you've hurt me and pushed me away,

I know that you'll care for me someday.

Even though you've hurt me, I'll cry for you

when the earth swallows you whole.

Even though you've hurt me, I'll miss you

when my bones have grown old

Even though you've hurt me, I'll still tell the world your stories

so they may never get bored.

Even though you've hurt me, I'll still look forward to that day

that the earth swallows me whole and I join you again in your silly ways.
