Even When I Doubt You
Honestly, I'm terrified. And honestly, I am scared of what will become of me.
Have I done enough? Am I really the person I say I am? What do others think of me?
I sit in that room with others like me; going through the motions.
Hand clapping, singing along to the songs I think I know. Trying to blend in like the rest of them.
But I know He sees me. I know He's watching me.
I know that He's the only one who truly knows me. He knows my doubts; my questions about Him and life.
He knows that I'm afraid. He knows that I feel empytness on the inside.
He knows that I give so much of myself to others and am thirsty for something in return.
He knows what I've done; knows all of the mistakes that I try to cover up.
Knows that I've tried lying to myself to make my decisions seem juvenile.
He knows what I need most...
Knows that I'm still afraid. Still scared.
But there is one thing I do know; even when I doubt You...I know that I'm no good without You.
I know that it says that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
I know that if You are for me, who/what can stand against me?
I know that love never fails. I know that He is love. I know that he has, and never will fail.
Even when I doubt You, I'm no good without You.
If it's one thing I can't live without--
It's you.
Don't forget about me.
Please...
