Even Without a Filter, I Wear a Mask

None of you see me

You see what you want to see

You might know my name

Obviously you know everything

Even as I stand before you

You think you see me

When it's really a shell

An unbreakable one

My soul does not meet my appearance

Inside, I am free, I am fun

Inside, I am wild, I am open

My appearance is a mask

It is a disguise

So what you think is me

Has nothing to do with who I am

I am covered from head to toe

In a fleshy costume

What I am to you

Is just a girl with a forgettable face,

To me it is just an image,

It does not match my personality

I am more than my looks

I should mean more to you
