Ever-changing Humanity

As the sun rises

And the world awakens

And the day commences

Humanity starts over again

Each day brings in new surprises

New rules to add to the book

New concepts to get rid of

Totaling to a different world

What was crossed off today

May be added tomorrow

What was added today 

May be taken out tomorrow

Despite the power they feel

Their control over the entire book

Humans only hold a temporary grasp

On the mindset of society

Because...as the sun sets

And the world goes to sleep

In a supposed time of peace

Humanity rests as well
