Ever Since We Met

Eloquent ballad,
cold hearts brew colder songs.
Heals wounds of passion,
where ostensibility belongs.
United as one flesh,
ever since we met.
Invested more than a tattered heart,
irrational debt.
Dragged melody,
and send the rest to Hell.
Esoteric rhythms,
it's an addiction you try to sell.
Suffocated dreams,
all of which you suggested.
Armed with feminine essence,
draggled bonds forcefully tested.
Never silent,
creeping gradually behind.

Torrid, raw encounters rarely,
giving my service to be kind.
Cackling throughout the night,
it's never silent.
Eloquent ballad,
yet whispering with a tone so strident.
Dragged melody,
your spell has worn through time.
Ever since we met,
tangled in this dysfunctional paradigm.
