Everlasting

As soon as one’s beauty dies Is she left alone in a cold dark night Or kept alive by empty promises and lies Only to preserve her esteem and might Does love die alongside appearance Emotions subside along with one’s exterior exquisiteness Only focusing on what is left with no remembrance Forgetting the lady he once loved nevertheless A love that seeds from lust Is considered something that is often misleading Thinking it is a couple in love and full of each other’s trust And in the end it is no surprise to find someone pleading Love seeds from care and affection Not just beauty and attraction
