Everlasting

My soul longs for the day

When wrong is made right.

When the world is made new

And darkness turns to light.

My heart hurts for the pain,

 The sadness, and fears.

And waits for the day,

When there are no more tears.

My soul longs for the day,

When in the twinkling of an eye,

We see Him face to face,

And there are no more goodbyes.

No more leaving.

No more crying.

No more death.

No more tears.

But joy everlasting-

Chasing away all our fears.

My soul longs for the day,

Of Everlasting.

When our souls are reunited,

With our Savior and King.

Forever and ever,

We'll rejoice and we'll sing.

Forever and ever-

Everlasting.
