The Everlasting

The look in his big brown eyes.

The wetness of his pushed in black snout.

His short course hair on every inch of the house.

The way he would run diagonally.

The little snores that would his escape his snout.

His memory that will live in my heart forever and ever.

The emptiness in my heart of his abscence.

The pictures that fill my brain, my phone, my walls.

My everlasting love for a dog that I cannot live without.
