"Evermore"

You were in the morning, I thought you brought out the sun.
You were in the evening, your smile beckoned the stars to come.
I was mistaken about us. I was so overcome by this love, by what I thought was love.

But now the time approaches; time for us to part.
You took this little piece of me, a small portion of my broken heart.
And now the time has come for me to RIP.. IT.. OUT.. of your controlling hands.
And I don't want to see a trace of your appalling face.

Forever and Ever. Evermore.

So long, it's not been nice knowing you
and now I'm through.
You'll never change because you don't have the guts to.

So long, there's someone out there better for me
and I'm so glad that he's not you,
and won't treat me the way you did.

Evermore! I'll never need to think about you anymore at all.
This was all my own idea, though my friends thought it was a good one.
You brought this upon yourself, and now IT'S.. ALL.. OVER..
Forever. Evermore.

You were in the morning and the evening; you were everywhere I was.
Now you're somewhere else, and someone else's issue.
You're history. It is finished.
For Evermore. I'm over you.
