EVERY

She wanted to sit next to me but I ran away,

Not knowing what we would be today.

Not knowing I would want her in every way,

Not knowing I would miss her every day.

Her soft lips, her smooth cheek,

Everything about her makes me weak.

Her laugh and her smile,

Makes distance hurt every mile.

Withdrawals from her hurt more than ever,

When I’m alone, sad, and we are not together.

I have you,

But I still want you in every way.

I miss you,

And wish you’d be here every day.
