Every Little Thing
My heart is drenched in sorrow
I wear a mask to hide the shame
Your haunting memory
Brings me to my knees
You're everywhere
I can't sleep
Too afraid to see you
To hear you
To feel you, one last time
I try to be strong,
For you
I close my eyes and pray
Hoping,
Wishing,
That you'll be there, in my dreams
I taste you,
Feel you
As your blood mixes with mine
The touch of your hand
Your voice echoes through me
Light dances around you
It begins to fade,
As I open my eyes
Leaving me
With silence,
Darkness,
Pain
You're gone
Even memories begin to fade
Your sweet taste
My bitter tragedy
An undying love,
For a tender shadow
