Every Morning Provides New Chances

The weather’s warm but a touch gets cold;

One moment you’re close and the next they are disjunct

Run they go,

Rampant thoughts, vapid dreams;

Escape fast from reality they know, they know.

Tonight I’ll dream of vile obscenes that reach the darkest vicinities; of my mind I like the right to know which way is good or truly so.

And yet each day you can start anew, that which held your terror washes away with the morning dew.
