Everybody Needs Somebody
I shed a tear for those no longer here and those living in fear for their lives everyday searching for another way.
Mothers struggling paying bills just to have a place to stay. Kids running the streets because they have no where else to play.
Nobody to teach them how to pray and no father to show them the way. This world is a dangerous place to face alone.
You can't do this on your own. Everybody needs somebody. I take a look out the window and all I see is pain
or maybe my visions blurred because of the rain. It's taking everything I got just to stay sane. The whole world is hurting.
The whole world feels my pain. Nobody to show you love when you need it the most. When you're feeling alone no one to
hold you close and tell you everything's alright. Nobody to tell you wrong from right. Nobody to be that light. It's so dark out here,
everyday seems like night. And everyday I wake up I fight for a better life, a better purpose but tell me is worth it. We're in a war,
every man for himself that's what it seems like, but that doesn't make it right. I think we should unite, and maybe together we can win
this fight. We hide our pain with a smile, but deep down we hate this lifestyle. False hope will make you think it's all worthwhile, because a little
hope doesn't hurt every once in a while. And it's ashame because we're all to blame, we're all so different but yet so the same. How many of us
can honestly say we never feel alone like we're doing this on our own. This world is a dangerous place to face alone. You can't do this on your own.
