Everyday

Everyday is a new one.

One to look forward to or dread.

Sometimes they seem like more trouble than they're worth,

Other times they seem like the best thing on the earth.

What I've come to find,

Now that I'm speaking my mind,

Is that to make the day worth it

you must focus on the perfect.

Not just the big things.

But the little ones too.

Find the good things and make do.

I'm a college student and I have done very little poetry so please no flames just constructive criticism. I have gone through depression so some of my work may be a little dark but hopefully a can show my brighter side as well.
