Everyday

Day by day, as we walk by Mundane isn’t questioned it’s simply performed Day by day, as time passes, One doesn’t much think of the routine of school Day by day, one doesn’t realize That we are in fact slaves to repetition For us, in school, it is all we have come to know. Day by day, the quiet is never observed As we become more like robots unable to question, There seems to become less of our imperfect brains As we struggle to absorb the present This struggle comes from the work, Nay! ‘Tis not important. Day by day, as increases the amount of work, One loses his ability to contain a quirk But if lack of quirks becomes the norm; So then will result the disappearance of progress- with it For, quirks may provide for uniqueness in thought Progress may seize to exist without it.
