Everyday

Will you ever just listen to me?

Go away and respect what I say?

Nothing ever stops you: my cries, my yells, my pleads.

You break things; you break me,

does it even matter?

As I lay down

I can see the broken glass

No respect for others

And it feels like a mass

Weighing down on my heart

You break the important things,

The things with meaning

I can tell when you leave,

You want me to be pleading.

I scream everyday

You just don’t hear me.
