Everyday, Every Minute
Everyday she is trying to make them proud,
But in the process she is bringing herself down.
Without noticing the days pass by,
Seeing the light fade out.
Darkness takes over,
And the smile that was once there, on her face, left.
Leaving only bitts and pieces of memories that once made her proud,
that once looked real, until she found its purpose.
Faking,
An ability she learned through the years.
She started young,
Something that shouldn't have happend.
Feeling happy and good felt like a sin to others.
Bringing her down became their virtue.
Not noticing that behind all the laughs and cheerfulness,
Hid a girl who broke down every minute,
Leaving scars that wouldn't heal in time.
