Everyday Fears

There is a fear around every corner,

A darkness in every sparkling eye.

A paralyzing horror holding you in place,

You don't know what to do as your mind runs a blank.

What can you do?

None of us are fearless,

We are all helpless.

We run from bills,

We run from responsibilities.

We run from consequences,

We run from yester-years,

Admit it or not,

But these are our everyday fears.

But we cannot keep running forever,

We must face our inner demons.

Do battle with the things that go bump in the night,

Because you can either fight or be frozen with fright.

Face your everyday fears.
