Everyday Love

Because I love you,

I’ll smile when you wear heels,

Even if they make you taller than me.

Because I love you,

I’ll pay for your blood red lipstick,

Even if it means I can’t kiss you.

Because I love you,

I’ll let you wear whatever you want,

Even if I notice them staring.

Because I love you,

I won’t mind when you want to have a boys’ night,

Even if it means we can’t hang out tonight.

Because I love you,

I won’t complain when you roll the windows down in the car,

Even if it messes my hair up.

Because I love you,

I’ll compliment your new sneakers,

Even if they mean we can’t go out this month.

Because I love you,

I’ll tell you I love you,

And mean it, everyday.
